Nazareth College of Education for women plays vital role in shaping quality teachers who will help the student community to understand the talents and potential in them and develop the same to meet the needs of the society. The B.Ed trainees are taught with modern teaching methodology and they are trained to contribute substantially to build better India. They undergo a compulsory 80 days teaching practice to apply their learning and teaching skills. The citizenship camp provides a platform for the trainees to build their personality and soft skills. On the whole Nazareth College of Education for Women is focused to evolve better teachers and to build quality human beings.

A prospectus is a useful document for the future
The year 1976, was marked by planting a tiny seed in education viz., Nazareth Nursery School with seven (7) children, at the outskirts of Chennai City, Avadi. The institute has grown up today into a huge banyan tree, offering educational shelter to more than 8500 students in the name and style of Nazareth Matriculation Higher Secondary School. The C& D Educational Trust, develops, formulates and implements various activities that impart education with a deep sense of social upliftment and communal harmony.
In the year 2006, the C & D Educational Trust, established a secondary teacher training institution, in the name and style of “Nazareth College of Education for Women”, with a purpose to train teachers to perform with commitment in the noble profession of teaching.
